The program is accredited by the Commission on 认证 of 盟军的健康 Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Committee 认证 of Educational Programs for the 紧急医疗服务 Professions (CoAEMSP).

课程
The purpose of the Associates of Applied Science in EMS可选学位 is to prepare students for entry to management, education, or supervisory positions that will be expected to plan, direct, and coordinate EMS and Fire organizations. 其中的课程将主要通过远程教育进行。 The program includes certifications in Critical Care, EMS教练, Supervision/Management, and EMS safety/Disaster Response. Students will be awarded 24 credit hours for their paramedic certification.
The EMS可选学位 is specifically for currently National or State of Texas Certified/Licensed Paramedic wanting to obtain their Associates Degree in EMS. Students that complete the EMS Professional Certificate and 15 hours of core elective credit are eligible for this degree.
